The US Poker Open Classic Series is taking place in Las Vegas, and it was expected to attract all the best players in the United States. Daniel Negreanu, Alex Foxen, Jeremy Osmus and other professionals could be spotted at the tables.

In one of the tournaments with a buy-in of $10,000, the record holder in the number of WSOP gold bracelets – Phil Hellmuth won. PokerBrat took home $211,200 in prize money for first place.

The win was notable not only for another trophy, but also for the composition of the heads-up. One-on-one Hellmuth went up against Jeremy Osmus and “avenged” his loss from two years ago.

In 2021, Phil claimed his 17th gold bracelet in a $50,000 PLO tournament. He played heads-up against Jeremy Osmus but was unlikely to win a record-breaking title.

For Phil, this is the first US Poker Open trophy. American poker pro is not often at the tables of such festivals. His appearance in the studio of PokerGO can be regarded as a preparation for the upcoming WSOP series. Phil is not going to miss it and traditionally aims to update the record for the number of gold bracelets.
