Isaac Haxton again won an expensive tournament, adding to his treasury for the fourth title since the beginning of the year. This time he won the $25,000 event at the US Poker Open, which was attended by some of the best poker players. The prize pool was $1,350,000.

The tournament attracted 54 registrations, and poker pros such as Dan Smith, Alex Foxen, Phil Hellmuth and Daniel Negreanu could be seen at the tables. Despite the small clearing, the event took place in a two-day format.

Returning to the final table, Isaac held second place in the chip count but quickly amassed a stack and had a 7-to-1 lead against Joey Weissman heads-up.

The prize money for first place was $432,000, and the championship cup was the fourth trophy this year:

  • $50,000 PokerGO Cup – $598,000 in prize money.
  • $100,000 PCA Super High Roller – $1,082,530 in prize money.
  • $100,000 PCA NLH 7-max – $1,555,630 in prize money.
  • $25,000 US Poker Open – $432,000 in prize money.

In addition to the first places, Isaac holds the lead in live final tables with 10 exits, and the total prize money for the first three months of 2023 exceeded $5,100,000. This has allowed Haxton to improve his position on the All Time Money List – the American poker pro is now the 15th most profitable player of all time with a total live table payout of $35,049,216.

Isaac does not plan to stop and has every chance to replenish his shelf of trophies with a few more cups. There will be two more Triton Poker series this year, the WSOP and WSOP Europe, as well as a couple of stops on the PokerGO Tour.
