At the end of June, Jason Mercier won the 2023 WSOP bracelet.
The American won the bracelet for the sixth time in his career. The win came in Event #60 No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw with a $1,500 buy-in, and the 548-player field started in 83rd place for just over $2,400.
The event’s total prize pool was a modest $731,580 by the standards of the series. According to The Hendon Mob, the victory earned Mercier $151,276 in prize money, bringing his total live tournament winnings to $20,714,036.
It is noteworthy that finishing in first place in Event #60 was Jason’s first of the WSOP season.
