The successes of Nikita Bodyakovsky continue

Another million in the piggy bank of a talented Belarusian

Two weeks ago, the EPT Monte Carlo series ended, in which Nikita Bodyakovsky took second place and won over €2,000,000 in prize money. Nikita made it to the grand final of the Triton Poker tournament again, winning a total of $1,200,000 in prize money. It was a $75,000 NLH tournament with 87 registered players and the final table included our players: Nikolay Voskoboynikov, Artur Martirosyan, Vyacheslav Buldygin and Nikita. Four Russian-speaking poker players claimed the victory at once. They were united by the fact that they were knocked out by future champion Michael Soyza. Nikolai Voskoboinikov and Artur Martirosyan were the first to be beaten by the Malaysian: Soyza set up a very powerful trap with pocket aces, eliminating our guys in eighth and ninth places:

  • 8th place: Martirosyan – $241,500
  • 9th place: Voskoboynikov – $182,500

Bodyakovsky got to heads-up – already the third in recent weeks. In the final hand, Nikita shoved into a bluff. Soiza burned three timebank cards and then called. This is the second victory for the Malaysian in the Triton Poker series – the last time he won in 2019. For the first place, he received $1,730,000 in prize money.

Nikita’s recent victories have allowed him to climb the list of the most profitable players in the All Time Money List. From tenth place, Bodyakovsky moved up to eighth position with a total winnings of $42,206,910.

The Triton Poker series continues with the most expensive Hold’em and Short Deck tournaments up to $200,000 ahead, so Nikita will have a chance to improve his position.
